Picked up the ducklings on Friday!
Steven had ordered 5 (straight run), but two died in shipment. So that leaves us with three Cayuga ducklings, which changes our chance of getting one male, one female to like a six-in-ten chance, but that's still good.
I'm amazed at how fast they grew just over the weekend! They are so cute!

I'm surprised that the hatchery let you order so few. The hatcheries I've worked with have 10 or 15 bird minimums so that they stay warm enough during shipping. Or did you order them through a feed store?
